Stoke Lodge Farm Christmas Tree Equipment This project enabled us to purchase a new specialist Christmas tree tractor & sprayer system with some additional attachments which we use across our plantations. This enables mechanisation, increasing productivity and quality. The project was part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. It was applied for through the LEADER Programme in the Clay Vales area.

Welcome to Stoke Goldington Christmas Trees

We are once again welcoming customers to the farm for choose-your-own Christmas tree sales this year. We open every weekend in December before Christmas - see our open dates opposite. This will be our eleventh year selling to the public 'from the farm gate' and we're hoping for another really successful season.

Thanks to everyone who visited us during our 2016 season. We welcomed many new visitors who enjoyed their first foray to the farm to choose their own tree from the field, and enjoyed catching up with many repeat customers too. The weather was kind throughout the season, with only one wet Saturday afternoon when customers were so kind to continue to brave the elements and many families enjoyed a very happy afternoon of puddle jumping! Norway Spruce sales increased again, mainly due to the continued success of our smaller plantation which features some excellent shaped Spruce, plus Nordmann Fir too. Our log-cabin style shop continued to prove very welcoming for customers to gather around the wood-burning stove for a complimentary glass of mulled wine before or after choosing their tree. Our range of newly branded 'The Fruity Farmer' homemade seasonal liqueurs once again appealed to many customers with Sloe Gin remaining the most popular, closely followed by our new addition of Rhubarb Gin, Apple & Blackberry Gin, then Blackberry Whisky, Raspberry Vodka, Strawberry Gin, Cherry Brandy & Limoncello. Our range of rustic log reindeer were particularly appealing and sold well.

Don't forget we also sell handmade wreaths for your front door plus holly brought in from orchards on the Quantock Hills in Somerset.....plus logs and kindling for those all-important Christmas fires!

Families and children absolutely love the outing to the farm. You can put on your wellies (spare wellies are available if you forget yours) and walk around the field to choose the perfect tree for the space in your home. The 'grown-ups' can enjoy a glass of mulled wine whilst they take time to choose their tree, whilst the youngsters can race around the field in the fresh air. We will cut your tree down for you, carry it back to the cabin and net-wrap it ready to take back home. For many customers it is becoming an annual outing to the farm during the busy and very exciting Christmas season!

Fresh, farm-grown Christmas trees are the ideal adornment to your home, with their beautiful foliage and aromatic scent. Buy British this year!
